ATTRACTIONS
Attractions
Stanley: In the south of Hong Kong Island, Stanley offers a relaxed seaside-resort atmosphere away from the busy city. Its blend of Chinese and Western influences makes it a popular weekend destination for locals and visitors.
The Peak Galleria: A shopping, dining and viewing complex at Victoria Peak. Its top-floor public observation deck offers free views and a photo spot overlooking Hong Kong’s skyline.
Man Mo Temple: Built in 1847, it is one of the oldest temples on Hong Kong Island and a declared monument. Its historic architecture contrasts with the modern skyscrapers of Central.
Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence: Formerly the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, it was renamed in September 2024. The museum occupies the over-century-old Lei Yue Mun Fort on a headland 64 metres above sea level and is Hong Kong’s only outdoor military-themed museum.
